Program
Details
Starting Wednesday, 10/25/2024, RFC will offer expanded pro bono services for clients affected by Hurricane Helene and ongoing recovery efforts. These services will be open to clients who meet any of the following criteria, regardless of insurance billing status or available benefits (unless otherwise indicated):
-
Clients who are residents of the primary damage counties listed here who have experienced direct loss associated with the hurricane
-
Clients who are first responders and/or affected-area community members actively participating in ongoing rescue & recovery efforts (including mental health support)

This expanded service program will be available until March 1, 2025.
Participating clients will be provided with a service agreement as part of their new client intake process. After the program's termination date (3/1/2025), clients may be eligible for continued pro bono engagement if they then meet the standard RFC criteria for pro bono eligibility.

*Clients must be able to access an internet connection if participating in video-based telehealth services, or otherwise have access to telephone signal (cell or landline) for audio-only sessions
**ALL participating clients must be able to complete their intake documentation online via the RFC client portal
*** Clients who connect with RFC via an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or similar measure may not be eligible for program participation. (Please reach out if you have questions about this.)
**** Program capacity is based on ongoing provider availability and may be subject to change
