"I have always had a heart for helping people --

Growing up, I spent much of my time volunteering, and those early experiences sparked my interest in community work and supporting others in meaningful ways. Being around people, listening to their stories, and offering support felt natural to me, and over time, that grew into a desire to work more intentionally in the helping profession. Therapy also became personal for me after I experienced the loss of a friend. Having my own space in counseling to process grief showed me just how powerful therapy can be. I saw firsthand how meaningful it is to have a safe, supportive place to explore emotions, ask life’s big questions, and heal.

That experience continues to shape the way I show up for clients with empathy, patience, and respect for each person’s unique journey. At the core of my work is the belief that clients already have the tools they need to reach their goals. My role is to help empower those tools through self-awareness, skill-building, and thoughtful exploration of life’s bigger questions. I view therapy as a partnership. I’m not here to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you as you move toward growth, clarity, and change in ways that feel authentic to you. I am a person-centered counselor, and know that no two people need therapy in the exact same way.

Because of that, I take an eclectic approach and draw from modalities such as Existential Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This allows our work to be flexible, collaborative, and tailored to what you bring into the room. In sessions with me, you lead. We go where you want to go, while staying mindful of how your day-to-day life connects with your goals. My hope is that therapy feels safe, grounded, and empowering -- a space where you can speak openly, reflect deeply, and build practical tools that support real change outside of session.

I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, sexuality and gender identity, career concerns, and self-esteem. Whether someone is navigating a difficult transition, exploring who they are, healing from past experiences, or working toward a more meaningful life, I strive to meet them with curiosity, compassion, and collaboration.

Outside of sessions, I’m someone who loves balance and connection. I have two dogs and two cats, enjoy sushi and tacos, love reading and collecting books, and make time for comic book conventions when I can.
